SAS was founded the 1st of August 1946 with the merge of four Scandinavian companies: two Sweden's carriers: ABA and SLA - Svensk Intercontinental Lufttraffik, the Norway's national carrier DNL - Det Norske Luftfartselskap and the Danish national carrier DDL - Danske Luftfartselskap AB. They formed the OSAS to fly the overseas routes from Scandinavia, the company was rapidly renamed SAS - Scandinavian Airlines System.
Our work consists in safekeeping the artistic heritage of advertising that we consider as a sociological trace of the twentieth century civilization.
