He owes his success to the hundreds of posters he designed for Swiss and foreign companies such as Eptinger, Bata, Coca Cola, Bell, Steinfels soaps and Rolex...

Leupin designed his first poster in 1938 for the Swiss Tourist Office (ONST-SVZ), depicting a watch with winter sports scenes depicting the hours.

From 1941 to 1976, Herbert Leupin was also the main poster designer for Eptinger mineral water, producing 37 posters for the company. He even invented the name "Pepita" for Eptinger's new sweetened lemonade, featuring his famous parrot, who adores "the queen of drinks".

In 1956, Herbert Leupin created a poster for Circus Knie featuring a Harlequin clown juggling the 4 letters K N I E on his knee (knie in German), a poster that would become iconic.

His reputation was international, and his posters were exhibited all over the world (Chicago, Toronto, Germany, etc.) and received numerous awards.
