Dans son affiche "En route pour la Suisse" de 1935, ici dans sa version anglaise "All roads lead to Switzerland", Herbert Matter superpose "en vue plongeante" plusieurs photographies de la route du Gothard et du Massif de la Bernina. Cette affiche contraste avec tout ce qui a été fait jusqu'alors. La route devient ici le sujet principal et l'image de ces lacets donne déjà un frisson d'aventure...
Cette affiche dynamique et moderne crée un choc. Grâce à l'utilisation du photomontage, H. Matter renouvelle l'esthétique de l'affiche touristique suisse et la relation du spectateur au monde.
