En 1960, Picasso crée une série de 45 gravures sur linoléum qui sont exposées à la Galerie Louise Leiris à Paris. Pour promouvoir l'exposition, une affiche en lithographie est réalisée avec au centre l'image d'une linogravure de Picasso datant de 1958, intitulée "Bacchanale au Taureau noir". L'affiche a été imprimée par l'Atelier Mourlot.
