En 1894, D.H. Evans ouvre son premier grand magasin sur Oxford Street, renommé "House of Fraser" en 1987.
Au sortir de la guerre, D.H. Evans lance une campagne de publicité pour un choix "prudent, judicieux" sur un éventail de produits comme les vêtements ou ici pour des vacances à la fin des années 50-début 60.
