We are selling the ORIGINAL AMERICAN FIRST EDITION printed in large size in 1967. This original edition was printed under licence of the "Nems" The Beatles company and is dated "Copyright 1967". This first edition is the original and the finest one, with many details.
Now they are famous icons of the 60's, highly collectible.
We sell 3 pieces of the set of four posters, the Ringo Star in peace, mystic George Harrison and the psychedelic John Lennon. Each poster is approx 23 x 31 inches (58x79 cm).
Richard Avedon is an American fashion and portrait photographer, whose elegant, innovative fashion work soon brought him international renown, as did his sharply focused, bluntly realistic portrait photographs of presidents, writers, and celebrities. Born in New York in 1923, Avedon changed his career in fashion photography in 1945 with Harper's Bazaar, switching to Vogue, Life, Graphis and Look magazines.
These posters constitute a remarkable example of psychedelic art as they incorporate fluorescent colors and a hippie stylization.
