Fine Art Deco poster for Megeve, the jet-set resort next to Chamonix and the Mont-Blanc.
Printed in 1933 for the PLM company on a sheet measuring 98 x 69 cm, this poster announces the opening of the Rochebrune cable car. It was cut slightly to the right and left to fit the international tourist format. This version measures thus 98 x 63 cm.
The Megeve cable car company itself made these cuts, probably around 1937, the year in which the PLM company shut down and the SNCF was created. A rare winter sport poster.
