In 1991, Chanel relaunched its famous perfume "Coco, l'esprit de Chanel" (created in 1984 as a tribute to Coco Chanel). Vanessa Paradis, 18 years old at that time, became the brand's new ambassador and muse.
A child-woman with the fragile appearance of a black bird, tied at the ankle by a red cord, cautiously holds an oversized bottle of the mythical perfume. Contrasting with the dark background, the light focuses on Vanessa Paradis' bare shoulders and creates a theatrical effect. This breathtakingly elegant image will be displayed on more than 13,000 billboards throughout France.
Some posters, as in the case of this copy, have been printed on both sides to be displayed in the back-lit panels of JCDecaux bus shelters.
