This poster was granted the Swiss Poster Award in 1991. Staehelin creating this illustration for the Museum of Design, Licht (Museum für Gestaltung, Licht), testifies his advocacy on the Swiss Style. With this vertical and minimal composition he implements the visual gestalt of reification. Consequently, he manages to captivate instantly the attention of the viewers, as they read the first word “licht” and then try to complete the missing letters of the following vertical words covered by the bold white vertical line.
