In 1928, Géo Dorival designed his ultimate masterpiece, the triptych “Towards Mont Blanc”, in which he combined with incomparable skill his highly personal use of colour with a strikingly modern graphic style.
This triptych is composed of three identical images of the ascent to Mont Blanc at different times of day (dawn, daylight and night), with, in the centre, the tracks of the cog railway, the Mont Blanc Tramway (TMB).
