The Palais de Glace was a famous show venue of the Belle Epoque in Paris.
In December 1893, the ‘Rotonde du Panorama National’ became the ‘Palais de Glace’, one of the most popular attractions in Paris during the Belle Époque.
During the 1900 Universal Exhibition, the Palais de Glace became ‘Nero's Palace’, a recreation of the splendours of ancient Rome, the persecutions suffered by the first Christians, gladiatorial combat and the decline and fall of Rome.
