Constantly at the forefront of the latest trends, ‘Bon Génie - Seiden Grieder’ hired the photographer Christian Coigny to create its advertising campaigns from 1978 to 1993, such as these two photo posters from the 1980s, one for women's fashions, the other for men's, inviting the viewer to venture off on a voyage of discovery.
Le Bon Génie opened its first shop in 1891 in Geneva, followed by another in 1903 in Lausanne. It was bought by Grieder from Zurich in 1972.
