A famous photographic poster by Armin Hofmann for the 'Tell open-air theater' in Basel. The four letters are like the arrow going into the apple. The fist is the symbol of the liberty assert by Guillaume Tell, the legendary hero of Switzerland.

In 1963 this poster received the Swiss Poster Award.

Armin Hofmann was teaching in 1948 in Basel and since 1955 in the Philadelphia School of Art.
