Vintage poster Swissair DC- 7c, seven seas



"the more recent long distance aircraft in the world " (text in Italian). In 1956 Swissair order five long-range Douglas DC-7C Seven-Seas piston-engined airliners for the trans-Atlantic operations. The DC-7C was able to fly direct trans-Atlantic flights except in very bad weather conditions. The last DC-7C was delivered to Swissair in 1958.
