Mono Card No. 28, “bière de st nicolas,” features an illustration by E. Cardinaux. On the front, it depicts the monumental figure of Saint Nicholas, a bearded bishop wearing a mitre and holding a crozier, overlooking a medieval town. On the back, a long advertising text recounts the history and merits of the Grande Brasserie & Beauregard, emphasizing the quality of its beers and the awards they received.
Mono cards were small collectible advertisements, printed in lithography on strong paper, distributed by companies.
