Authier était une entreprise de ski suisse fondée en 1910, qui a cessé ses activités en 1995.
À la fin des années 1980, sous la direction de son nouveau propriétaire, Pierre-Alain Blum, Authier skis a demandé à la championne de ski suisse Doris de Agostini de représenter la marque, qui allie innovation et tradition. De Agostini a participé à deux Jeux olympiques (Innsbruck en 1976 et Lake Placid en 1980). Elle a été nommée athlète suisse de l'année en 1983 et s'est retirée du ski de compétition à la fin de cette même année.
