Inaugurated in 1910, after 5 months of work, the historic funicular railway "Les Avants - Sonloup" in the canton of Vaud brings bobsleigh fans directly to the slopes. It links the M.O.B (Montreux-Oberland-Bernois) station in Les Avants to the Sonloup pass.
This very rare poster has the inscriptions "100 ex Bon à tirer" and "Société de l'Imprimerie & Lithographie, Montreux" in grey and blue pencils, as well as the stamp of this printer dated 2 Feb 1912. This inscription of a print run of only 100 copies in 1912, shows the extreme rarity of this poster of which only a few specimens have survived. Another copy of this poster is in the collection of the National Library in Bern.
