Extremely rare historical poster for Automobiles Berna, witness to the industrialisation of Switzerland at the turn of the 20th century.

Berna was founded in Bern (hence the name Berna) in 1902 by the designer Joseph Wyss, who himself designed the company's first car: the "Ideal Vis-à-vis". In 1903, the "Unicum", the car shown on this poster, was built with the engine at the front.

In 1905, the company started to produce trucks and was taken over by Saurer in 1929.
