In 2009 and 2012, Dior launched an advertising campaign for its men’s fragrance ‘Eau Sauvage’ using photos of Delon as a young man. The photos used date from 1966 and were taken on the set of ‘La Piscine’ by photographer Jean-Marie Périer. One retouch was made: the cigarette held by the actor was erased.
