In 1894, D.H. Evans opened his first department store on Oxford Street, renamed "House of Fraser" in 1987.

At the end of the war, D.H. Evans launched an advertising campaign for a "wise" choice of products, whether for clothing or here for holidays in the late 50s and early 60s.

Probably by Arpad Elfer, circa 1960.
