Champagne "De Venoge & Cie" is a brand of champagne created by the Swiss Henri-Marc de Venoge in 1837 in Epernay. Originally from the canton of Vaud, Henri-Marc left his native country in 1825 for the Champagne region.

In 1838, he created the first illustrated label in the history of Champagne!

His great-granddaughter, Yvonne de Venoge, is pictured on this advertising card with her husband, the Marquis Adrien de Mun. They took over the champagne house in 1898 and developed the brand among the great European aristocracy.
