The show titled "Sion à la lumière de ses étoiles” (Sion by the light of its stars), created by the writer and poet Maurice Zermatten, premiered on 1 August 1959. The show was then performed every summer between 1959 and 1968. More than 200 spotlights were needed for this production combining sound, words, music and light.
