Riri, the famous Zip fastener:

After buying the patent for the zip fastener from the Swedish inventor Gideon Sundbäck, Martin Othmar Winterhalter founded Riri AG in Mendrisio (Ticino) in 1936.

The simple, effective design of Hans A. Aeschbach's poster in 1948 evokes women's fashion, where the zip became the star of the show.

Swiss Poster Award of the Year Winner in 1948.
