Ludwig Wilding was born in 1927 in Grünstadt and lives in Hamburg. In 1955 he started making experiments with superposed structures. In 1967 he was appointed as a professor in the Academy of Fine Arts of Hamburg. Since 1968 he has been producing monoprints. His work is associated with optic and kinetic art. This illustration indicates his experimentation with the illusion depth and space.
