Vintage poster General Dynamics, Exploring the universe. The energetic sea



One of the best posters for the General Dynamics by Erik Nitsche. This company was founded in 1952 with the merge of "Electric Boat" and "Canadair Ltd".
The General Dynamics has different activities in the scientific research, such as atomic energy, electricity, electronic intelligence or space dynamics. They were producing aircraft, boats nuclear power stations, medical instrument against cancer. They built the USS Nautilus, the first nuclear-powered submarine etc.
Eric Nitsche, as Art director, designed between 1955 and 1960 the famous three set for the General Dynamics. They are now in museum collections and are prized by avant-garde collectors. The complete collection is very rare and hard to built.
