The Pencil by Peter Birkhauser "Who is counting, is buying at Globus" one of the famous Swiss Object poster. This is the first edition beautifully printed in stone-lithography in 1942 by Wassermann in Basel. Globus is an important Swiss general store company. Peter Birkhauser was one of the leaders of the Basel school and the hyperrealism style, also called "SachPlakat". A rare Swiss object style poster from the golden age of the Swiss printers. Highly collectable.
