Samuel HENCHOZ
(1905 – 1976)
Samuel Henchoz graduated from the Ecole d'Arts et Métiers in Vevey in 1922 and from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne in 1925. He worked then as a decorator in Nancy and as a graphic designer in Paris. He returned to Switzerland when the war broke out and taught at the Ecole d'Arts et Métiers in Vevey, including typography. As a graphic designer, he produced posters and advertising leaflets for tourism in Switzerland and for the Watch industry.
