"La Ligue internationale des femmes pour la paix et la liberté"(WILPF) a été créée en 1915. Elle rassemble des femmes d'opinions politiques et religieuses différentes afin de lutter contre la guerre et de travailler pour une paix permanente ainsi que de s'opposer à l'oppression et à l'exploitation.
