In 1958, for ‘Christine’, the film by Pierre Gaspard-Huit that would reveal the young Alain Delon, poster artist René Péron used the same composition and design as in his poster for ‘Les Grandes Manoeuvres’ (1955): a plain background against which the two protagonists are waltzing, with an arched gateway in the background.
