Rare poster of the Turn of the century advertising the famous tethered balloon (ballon captif) of Henri Lachambre.

Henri Lachambre (1846-1904) was one of the most famous aeronauts of his time and took over the Grands Ateliers Aérostatiques de Vaugirard, Paris in 1875.

He flew his tethered balloons at the 1889 and the 1900 Paris exhibitions from 127 Boulevard de Grenelle and from 88 Avenue Kleber (Trocadero). Here is a view from the Trocadero.
