Martin Peikert is a very important graphic designer in the history of the poster in Switzerland. He is best known in the "Suisse Romande" (french part of Switzerland) for his posters celebrating Villars, Les Diablerets, but also the canton of Valais with Montana or Champéry, not to mention the canton of Fribourg and the Bernese Oberland. His use of bright, vivid and contrasting colours in his posters praise his love of nature.
This rare poster printed in stone lithography shows the traditional wooden spoon used to scoop the Gruyère cream over the milk.
