The corp of the Amazones womens was founded in the 18th century and has fights courageously in 1894 against the French colonial army. At the end of the XIX century Théodore Rancy open a few "cirques d'hiver" in Geneva and in France called "Cirque Rancy", Different shows were presented. At the beginning of the XX century he began to show short movies and the Cirque Rancy became in fact the first cinema.
