"Daniel Jeanrichard bicentennial festival, Le Locle 1941" poster. Daniel Jeanrichard (1665-1741) was living in Le locle in the Swiss Jura. At 15 years old he saw a watch for the first time. As he was known for his ability, an English traveler ask him to have a look on his defective watch. During all night he opened it, drew each piece and repaired the watch. One year later he produced his first watch. He is considered as one of the founder of the Swiss watch industry in the Neuchatel & Jura regions.
