Beautiful stone-lithographic poster by Sam Junod for the first "Fêtes de Genève" in 1948. In 1830 begin the Geneva festival, with a procession and a flower battle. At the beginning of the twenty's century a "Fête de nuit" with fireworks and the famous "Gordon Benett" ballon cup were added to the festival. The first *Fêtes des Fleurs of Geneva" was in 1923 and the first "Fêtes de Genève" began in 1948. A georgeous Swiss poster. Rare. . . . . now SOLD
