This 1935 poster shows a CAMS (Chantier aéro-maritimes de la Seine) type 53 transport seaplane with a Hispano-Suiza engine. This seaplane, used by Air France from 1928 to 1938, was used for the daily transport of passengers and mail across the Mediterranean on Marseille-Alger routes. The route was direct and lasted 5 hours.
"Yacco, the oil of world records", indicated on the poster refers to the world altitude record of a CAMS 53 on May the 15th 1929, with a two-ton load at 4,827 m.
