The mythical "Orient-Express, luxury trains twice a week between Constantinople (Istanbul) and Paris in 63 hours. Vienna to Constantinople, every day in Wagons-lits in 45 hours". Turn of the century travel poster for the "Oriental Railways companies & Wagons-lits” showing various sceneries: the Bosphorus and the blue mosque in Constantinople (Istambul), the cities of Andrinople (Edirne), Philippople (Bulgaria) & Salonique in Greece, the Seraskerat place, the Rouméli Hissar castle, the Yildiz mosque, Demir Kapou, the At Meidan obelisk and the Corne d'Or in Constantinople. Condition B, restored and backed on linen. One of the oldest “Orient Express” poster, printed in 1898, extremely rare. A Museum piece. (Réf: Wagons-lits #12).
