The Aigle - Leysin electric railway was opened in 1900. One year later this poster was finely printed in lithography (on stone) and heliograohy by Orell Füssli, enhanced with gold colour. It was used a few years with different time-tables. We are selling one original printed in 1901 with the 1905 time-table posted on it.
This is the first poster ever done on this region, extremely rare and highly collectible.
