Since the first flight made by the Wright brothers in 1903, pilots multiplied exploits which became ever more audacious and dangerous, often flying directly over their public. In 1913, Etienne Poulet succeeded in flying the first loop and in one fell swoop gave birth to aviation acrobatics.
