Roger EXCOFFON
(1910 – 1983)
He was in charge of artistic direction at Air France from the middle of the 1960's until 1971. Typographer by profession, Roger Excoffon drew the logo for Air France in 1958 in 'NORD' typography, which he created. The company's signature image owes a lot to him: he conceived everything, the graphism, advertising, brochures and he created several very graphic posters that contrasted with those of his predecessors which won him several prizes.
