Apollo XI Mission

The original NASA printed photographs for OMEGA watches

In 1965, after many tests, the Omega Speedmaster was selected by NASA to be the timepiece used by the US Astronauts, and especially during the lunar mission. On the 16th of July 1969, during the Apollo XI mission, Neil Armstrong & Edwin Aldrin walked for the first time on the moon with an Omega Speedmaster on their wrists. As of today the Speedmaster is still the only watch to have been taken to the Moon.

As official NASA supplier, Omega received the right to used the famous photographs of the Moon Mission. We are pleased to show the original printed serie of these photographs, printed in Lausanne in 1969 for Omega watches.

All of the Lunar Mission icons are in this set of  21 printed photographs: The Neil Armstrong foot print, Aldrin going down the LEM, the earth's sunrise, the reflection of Armstrong with the LEM in the Aldrin visor, and other beautiful views of the Moon and Earth.

We are selling them individually or as a group.
